A task executor for each person is what you get when you put a powerful language model on your own desk. What comes next is a memory for the whole business. That is Bombos. Claude Cowork, Anthropic’s task executor, does strong work for one person who gives the instructions and reviews the result themselves. Bombos works for the whole business: in Outlook, AFAS (Dutch business software), Exact (Dutch accounting software), and scheduling, with one memory where every approval and correction becomes a decision for all colleagues, with people in the Netherlands who visit when needed, and with an assistant that asks less every week because it earns that through evidence from your business. Bombos wins on every point except the price per user. Bombos prepares the work, you approve it.
Anthropic now simply calls Cowork Claude. This merging of chat and tasks is gradually rolling out to Pro and Max; other plans will follow. This is about getting work done, rather than having a standalone conversation with Claude. Source: Anthropic, getting started with Cowork.
Claude Cowork and Bombos side by side
| Provider | What it does | Where it works (countries, languages) | What it costs | How you get help | What it remembers |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Cowork | Creates documents, organises files, and carries out tasks, including on a schedule. Explanation | The Netherlands is on the country list. You can speak Dutch; Dutch is not on the list of interface languages. Countries, languages | Pro: $20 per month or $200 upfront for a year, displayed as $17 per month. Taxes excluded; usage limits apply. Pricing | In writing through the help window and email; Fin passes questions to people. Enterprise customers arrange a live working session through their account team. Support | Personal topics you can view and edit; projects have their own memory and can be shared on Team and Enterprise. Memory, projects |
| Bombos | Prepares your business’s recurring work in your own software, from the invoice in Exact to scheduling; you approve entries and messages. Exact | A Dutch company based in Utrecht and Nijmegen, entirely in Dutch, on its own servers in Europe. About us, how it works | €2.000 for a three-month pilot, then €1.000 per month, excluding VAT, for the whole business. Setup of the first task and guidance included. Offer | The people who build it: calls, emails, and visits when needed, at the start and afterwards. Contact, setup | Every approval and correction becomes a decision for the whole business; what one colleague agrees applies to everyone tomorrow. How it works |
Claude wins on price per user: $20 per month for Pro is competitive. That amount buys access for one person. You do not get a company memory with it, because sharing projects with colleagues is only available on Team and Enterprise. You do not get decisions that belong to the business, or anyone who sits down with you to set up the first process. With Bombos, all of that is included in one price, for the whole business.
From tasks per person to a memory per business
What Jan teaches Claude, Marieke’s Claude does not know
Jan in administration teaches his Claude that invoices from that particular supplier always go to cost centre 4300. That sits in Jan’s personal memory. Marieke, two desks away, asks her own Claude the same thing and gets a different answer. Account owners cannot view or edit users’ individual memories. Source: memory management. On Team and Enterprise you share a project, but someone has to put the agreement in it and keep it up to date. Source: projects.
With Bombos, Jan’s yes also applies to Marieke tomorrow, and to the new colleague starting on Monday. Nobody has to pass it on. Bombos has one memory, and it belongs to the business.
Every approval becomes a decision that comes back
Bombos works in the software you already have: AFAS, Exact, Outlook, and scheduling. Every approval and correction becomes a decision with the reason attached. When a similar case comes back, your judgement is already alongside it. A corrected project number thereby becomes an agreement for all the work that follows. Source: how it works, Exact, and AFAS.
That is how Bombos asks less every week. This is not a slider someone moves: it earns that through evidence from your own business, and one yes is never enough. With Claude, you decide how much access and approval to configure, and Anthropic also describes working without manually approving every step. Source: safe use.
Bombos takes the shape of your business
With Claude, someone writes project instructions and maintains them. Bombos looks back each night at that day’s work and proposes standing work rules. You say yes or no. That is how it grows into your way of working without anyone programming anything, and afterwards your own team teaches it the next task. Source: Bombos with AFAS.
We visit, even after the start
Bombos is based in Utrecht and Nijmegen, can be reached personally, and visits when needed: at the start to set up the first task with your real weekly timesheets and exceptions on the table, and afterwards whenever the work calls for it. Source: contact and about us.
Anthropic helps in writing, through a help window and email, where Fin passes questions to people. Enterprise customers arrange a live working session through their account team. A visit to your business is not listed on the support page. Source: Anthropic support.
One door to the outside, with a lock on customer email
Claude can edit and delete files. Anthropic therefore recommends a separate working folder, backups, and monitoring unexpected steps, and warns about sensitive data in scheduled tasks. Source: safe use. With Bombos, everything going outside passes through one door with a logbook. An email to a customer never goes out without your approval, and that lock stays on the door.
If you work alone and review every result yourself, Claude is fine. A business’s work belongs to the business, rather than to one account. With Bombos, it is ready every morning.
Frequently asked questions
Does Claude Cowork work in the Netherlands and in Dutch?
Yes. The Netherlands is on the country list and Claude replies in the language you use; a Dutch interface is not on the published language list. Bombos is a Dutch company: the work, the help, and the conversation at your table are in Dutch. See the country and language sources above.
What does it cost per month?
Claude Pro costs $20 with monthly billing, per person. Bombos costs €2.000 for the first three months and then €1.000 per month excluding VAT, for the whole business, with setup and guidance included. Offer.
Does it send emails itself?
Claude acts according to the access and approval settings you give it; Anthropic also describes working without approving every step. Bombos prepares the email, and it only goes out after your approval. Claude safety, Bombos.
Can Claude Cowork take over all the administration?
Anthropic shows how Claude prepares entries, reconciles accounts, produces annual accounts, compares figures, and checks documents against your own guidelines. That is not yet a configured administrative process with one memory for the business. Source: product examples. Bombos starts with precisely that process: one recurring task, set up together, then the next. That is how the Bombos pilot works.
Do you need technical knowledge?
For neither. You speak to Claude in ordinary language, but you decide on the result, access, and boundaries yourself. With Bombos, the makers set up the first task with you, and afterwards your team teaches it the next in ordinary language.
