How do you connect TempWorks to your inbox so that hours sent by email become timecards on the right assignment?

You connect TempWorks to your inbox by putting Bombos next to it. Bombos reads the hours that arrive outside the time clock, such as a spreadsheet from a client or a text about a missed punch, and looks up the assignment and the contract in TempWorks. The timecard lines are ready with every difference and its reason, and after your approval in Bombos they are in TempWorks. It works next to TempWorks, not instead of it.

What Does TempWorks Already Do, and What Not?

TempWorks does a lot by itself. With Time Management, employees punch in or out on an on site time clock or a mobile device, using a QR code, a PIN or the WebCenter client portal, with facial recognition and geofencing as options. They pick the assignment, pay code or cost code, and your clients see the time in WebCenter. The timecard approver reviews, edits and submits timecards for payroll processing and client invoicing.

What arrives outside the time clock still lands in your mailbox. A client emails a spreadsheet for a site without a clock. A worker forgets to punch out and texts his hours the next morning. A supervisor replies that the week is approved except for Tuesday. Your timecard approver reads those messages and fixes the timecards by hand, one by one.

That groundwork is what Bombos prepares. It reads the spreadsheet or the message, looks up the assignment and the contract in TempWorks, lays out the timecard lines with every difference and its reason, and asks the worker or the supervisor for what is missing. How a client handles breaks, when nobody wrote it down, Bombos asks about and records, so it counts next time.

Which Tasks Run on TempWorks?

Each task below starts in your inbox or in a text message and ends in TempWorks after your approval in Bombos. A client spreadsheet becomes timecard lines per worker per assignment. A missed punch becomes a proposed correction, with the text message as the reason. A client who asks where an order stands gets a one line answer. A candidate who emailed gets a reply the same day. Every proposal shows the message it came from, so your approver checks it in a glance instead of scrolling back through texts and emails. Your people keep punching in the way they do now. You start with one task. After that, your own team teaches Bombos the next one, and you do not need to be technical for that.

What Changes in Your Week?

Your timecard approver approves instead of retyping. A missed punch gets its question the same day, while the worker still remembers when he left. The spreadsheet from the site without a clock is in the right shape before payroll starts, and the Tuesday your supervisor held back stays open with its reason. That is how you do more with the same team, and the work gets better too.

You get that for less than half a day a week of the employee you would otherwise hire. We set up the first task together with you, with your own TempWorks and your own mailbox. After that you can do it yourself, and your own team teaches Bombos what comes next. The time that frees up goes to clients and workers.

What Doesn't Go Out Without Your Approval?

Bombos submits no timecards in TempWorks, changes no punch and sends no message to a client, a worker or a candidate until someone at your company presses Approve in Bombos. That goes for a correction of five minutes too. That limit is always on. Only Bombos can switch it off, at your explicit request and at your own risk.

For every step you can read back afterwards what happened and why. For the work inside your office, such as looking things up, checking and preparing, you decide how much Bombos does ahead of time; messages to customers and payments always wait for your approval. A proposal can be wrong, even when the reason sounds believable. When in doubt, Bombos asks instead of guessing.

Bombos also works with BambooHR, Bullhorn, and Avionté.

All tasks Bombos takes on are listed under use cases.

A few lines about how things go at your company is enough, or just your number.
