How do you connect ServiceTitan to your inbox so that an emailed service request gets booked like a call?
You connect ServiceTitan to your inbox by putting Bombos next to it, so an emailed service request becomes a proposed booking in ServiceTitan. Bombos reads the email and the attachment, finds the customer, the location and the equipment in ServiceTitan and checks which technician has capacity. The proposal is ready with the reason attached and the message to the customer underneath, and after your approval in Bombos the job is in ServiceTitan. Bombos works next to ServiceTitan, not instead of it.
What Does ServiceTitan Already Do, and What Not?
ServiceTitan already covers a lot by itself. When the phone rings, call booking fills in the customer information as the call comes in and guides your CSRs with custom prompts. Through the customer portal, customers self-schedule and approve proposals. Dispatchers move jobs on a drag and drop dispatch board and text with techs, and Atlas, the AI of ServiceTitan, answers questions about customer and equipment history in a chat.
Those tools start with a phone call or a portal visit. An email is a different way in. The facilities manager of a commercial customer sends a request for two units in one message, a general contractor emails a purchase order as a PDF, and a homeowner replies to an appointment confirmation asking to add a second unit. A CSR reads the email and retypes it into ServiceTitan by hand.
Bombos does that step before your CSR does. It reads the email and the attachment, finds the customer, the location and the equipment in ServiceTitan, checks technicians and their capacity and prepares a proposal for each visit, with the reason attached and the message to the customer underneath. Agreements that live only in your dispatcher's head, such as which tech a commercial customer accepts on site, Bombos asks about and records, so they count next time.
Which Tasks Run on ServiceTitan?
Each task below starts in your inbox and ends, after your approval in Bombos, on the dispatch board in ServiceTitan. Service requests by email are the first, because they compete with the phone for the attention of the same CSRs. Purchase orders from contractors follow: Bombos reads the PDF and splits it into the jobs it describes. The yearly maintenance visit under a service agreement and the day a technician calls in sick are next, both built on the history already stored in ServiceTitan. You decide the order, based on where your CSRs and dispatchers lose the most time today. You start with one task. After that, your own team teaches Bombos the next one, and you do not need to be technical for that.
What Changes in Your Week?
An email request gets the same care as a booked call. Your CSRs stop copying details from the inbox into ServiceTitan, and a request for several units from a commercial customer is already split into visits before anyone opens it. Your dispatchers work from approved proposals, with fewer calls back to the customer to ask which unit it was. Do more with the same team: more work, at a higher quality, for less than half a day a week of the extra CSR you would otherwise hire.
We begin with one task and set it up together with you, with your own ServiceTitan and your own inbox, using the requests that reach you now. Your corrections become the rules Bombos follows from then on. Once that first task runs, your team teaches Bombos the next one without us, and that is the point.
What Doesn't Go Out Without Your Approval?
Bombos books no job in ServiceTitan, puts nothing on the dispatch board for good and sends no text or email to a customer until someone at your company presses Approve in Bombos. That holds for a commercial customer with a service agreement as much as for a first-time homeowner. That limit is always on. Only Bombos can switch it off, at your explicit request and at your own risk.
For every step you can read back afterwards what happened and why. For the work inside your office, such as looking things up, checking and preparing, you decide how much Bombos does ahead of time; messages to customers and payments always wait for your approval. A proposal can be wrong, even when the reason sounds believable. When in doubt, Bombos asks instead of guessing.
Bombos also works with Jobber, Housecall Pro, and FieldEdge.
