# How do you connect Jobber to your inbox so that a service call email becomes a visit on the schedule?

You connect Jobber to your inbox by putting Bombos next to it, so a service call that arrives by email becomes a proposed visit in Jobber. Bombos reads the email, looks up the client and the unit in Jobber and checks which technician has room. The proposal is ready with the reason attached and the message to the client underneath, and after your approval in Bombos the visit is in Jobber. Bombos works next to Jobber, not instead of it.

## What Does Jobber Already Do, and What Not?

Jobber already handles a lot by itself. Clients can request or book service through a form on your website, your social media profiles or the client hub, and those requests land in Jobber with their preferred dates and times. Jobber Receptionist answers calls and texts clients to gather the details, recurring maintenance jobs are scheduled automatically, and the drag-and-drop calendar lets you move visits when the day changes.

What stays outside is the service call that never touches those forms. A property manager emails that the rooftop unit at one of her buildings is blowing warm air. A general contractor sends an order for three new systems as a PDF. A client replies to last spring's invoice with a photo of the thermostat. Your office manager reads each one, finds the client in Jobber and works out who can go.

That legwork is what Bombos prepares. It reads the email and the attachment, looks up the client and the unit in Jobber, checks the technicians and their schedules and puts a proposal for the visit in front of you, with the reason attached and the message to the client underneath. What only your office manager knows, such as which technician a property manager always asks for, Bombos asks about and writes down, so it counts next time.

## Which Tasks Run on Jobber?

Each task below starts in your inbox and ends, after your approval in Bombos, in Jobber. Service calls are the usual first one, because they are urgent and they come in all day. Orders from contractors follow the same path: Bombos reads the PDF and prepares the job. The follow-up on a quote you sent last week is next in line, and so is the morning a technician calls in sick and the whole day has to move. Each one uses the client, unit and schedule details that already sit in Jobber. You choose which task comes second, based on where the legwork in your office sits. You start with one task. After that, your own team teaches Bombos the next one, and you do not need to be technical for that.

## What Changes in Your Week?

Your office manager stops retyping emails into Jobber. The service calls that came in by email are waiting as proposals when she opens Bombos, each with the client, the unit and a suggested technician, so her mornings go to checking and deciding instead of searching. Clients who email hear back sooner, and the job details are complete before the technician drives out. That is how you do more with the same team: more work, at a higher quality, for less than half a day a week of the office hire you would otherwise make.

It starts with one task. We set up the first one together with you, with your own Jobber and your own inbox, and we look at how your service calls come in today. Every correction you make becomes a rule Bombos uses next time. After that your team teaches Bombos the next task on its own, because we want you to be able to do this without us.

## What Doesn't Go Out Without Your Approval?

Bombos schedules nothing for good in Jobber, creates no job and sends no email or text to a client until someone at your company presses Approve in Bombos. That also goes for a regular client and for a visit that looks obvious, such as the yearly tune-up at the same address. That limit is always on. Only Bombos can switch it off, at your explicit request and at your own risk.

For every step you can read back afterwards what happened and why. For the work inside your office, such as looking things up, checking and preparing, you decide how much Bombos does ahead of time; messages to customers and payments always wait for your approval. A proposal can be wrong, even when the reason sounds believable. When in doubt, Bombos asks instead of guessing.

Bombos also works with [Housecall Pro](https://bombos.ai/en/integrations/housecall-pro/), [ServiceTitan](https://bombos.ai/en/integrations/servicetitan/), and [FieldEdge](https://bombos.ai/en/integrations/fieldedge/).

All tasks Bombos takes on are listed under [use cases](https://bombos.ai/en/use-cases/).

## Leave your number and we'll call you back to talk through your situation.

A few lines about how things go at your company is enough, or just your number. You won't get a sales pitch but a conversation: what stands out to us, which work could get lighter first at your company and what your team can take on after that. It costs nothing. If we see something worthwhile together, we start with that first piece of work.
